The Goodwill Project

Okay, lovely Evergreen community business-minded folks. Read up about fellow Cowork Evergreen member Shawn Audlin’s concept that uses something of a crowd-working method (like crowd-funding, but instead of money, volunteers give their time, expertise, etc)

Here’s Shawn’s description:

For one hour every week, I’m going to volunteer to help grow a company, then the business will “forward the favor” and we measure the ripple effect the Goodwill Spirit has over 30 days.

Picture a business in your mind – maybe a family member, friend – now imagine over the next week if someone spent a full hour to helping them – and then over this next week they dedicated an hour to helping someone else… Can you see the impact this could have?

This will be a sort of volunteer coalition – and honestly it’s hard to determine where it will go, but I want to screen for the best candidates, because anyone who isn’t jumping at the opportunity AND excited about volunteering is someone who probably isn’t a good fit.

So, if you would like to know more and feel you would be a good candidate for both volunteering and possibly being the target business we focus on then we invite you to join us for our “Goodwill Project Kickoff”!

WHO is this group for? Small business owners, retirees, entrepreneurs, community-minded folk, problem-solvers, creative thinkers, helpers, doers, visionaries, stay at home moms and dads, work from home moms and dads, teachers, students, civic leaders,  seekers, masterminds….you.

We’re going to have a Kickoff meeting this Friday, January 30th from 12 – 1 at the Cowork Evergreen location on Bryant drive. Please join us to learn more and help us grow the group and develop the concept. I feel like this has such huge potential for amazing impact in our community and I know the volunteers would benefit as much as the businesses being helped.  Be sure to RSVP below —>>>>>>>>

Parking: We can fit 4-5 cars in the lot in front of our space. If it is full, you may park in the street or in the lot in front of Suite #101-102 (leave front spot of 101 open for owner).
